Nikki G: Fashion Industry Expert

Pursuing her dreams in fashion, Nikki G spent years developing her career in the fashion industry. She held multiple positions in different areas of fashion, including retail, merchandising, and sales.

Nikki G has forty years of sewing experience in custom apparel and couture sewing. She has showcased her sewing expertise in various ways including designing and constructing personal garments and sewing instruction. Nikki has built a remarkable reputation within the industry, and as a result holds partnerships with various communities and fashion organizations.

Nikki G. helped launched Sewing Masks for Area Hospitals, a movement dedicated to providing cotton masks and N95 Covers for medical facilities and essential workers in the wake of a mask shortage during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sewing Masks for Area Hospitals generated an incredible amount of volunteer support, gaining customers such as Emory University, Grady Hospital, Piedmont Healthcare, and MARTA.

Over the past five years, Nikki G has heavily invested in her personal brand Sewing My Style, where she globally educated masses on the art of sewing. She utilizes her brand‘s virtual platform to conduct a sewing series entitled SEWING LESSONS LIVE! sewing classes offering private and group sessions for beginner, intermediate, and advanced participants.

While maintaining her personal makes and engagements, Nikki G has also dedicated an equal amount of time to providing a well-rounded education in sewing and design. Revisiting the moment between a grandmother and grand-daughter Nikki G, uses the patience and guidance her grandmother passed on to teach people of all levels of art of our ancestral craft.
