Bra Sewing Bee 2023- Lanai Wireless Bra Sew Along

LANAI SEW-ALONG, PRE-RECORDED
Available in the Main Conference of the Bra Sewing Bee as well as the “Vault” if you have Extended Access.

The Lanai Wireless is a non-stretch bra pattern with separation and support options in 150+ sizes! Includes instructions for optional internal sling (for nursing or support), 3 or 4 piece cup, cross cradle, lace strap and common alterations. Ideal for adventurous beginners and intermediate sewers alike

Lanai made from the soft blue Sandy Kit, fully lined with a cross-cradle option. The Matching Panty is made from micro-duoplex fabric and matching stretch lace as the waistband and panty elastic on the legs.

Lanai made from soft purple Donna kit, with duoplex for the cross cradle/front frame and stretch lace all over. Straps are made from the pattern with duoplex and an overlay of lace. Matching Panty is micro-lycra and matching stretch lace on the waistband and panty elastic on the legs.

My fav! Lanai hand-sewn with the Cyndi kit, because of course this lace deserves hand-sewing. The base fabric is micro-duoplex, the cups are fully lined with bra tulle as the pink lace is stretchy. I added elastic trim at the neckline just because its cute and keeps the lace and tulle stable….the elastic trim is included in the Bra Kit. The Matching Panty is made with micro-lycra fabric and overlayed with the stretch and cut out for a see thru effect and topped off with fold-over elastic for the waistband.

This Lanai made with the Tina kit, made a little more casual, as it’s not lined...the lace has a more moderate stretch for “my preference” and I wanted a softer look. I love fold-over elastic just like chocolate so you’ll always see my signature double straps. I chose the cross cradle for the front frame and I probably won’t take this one off! The Matching Panty is a self-drafted high leg with fold-over elastic waist and side rings - made based on your measurements.

Another favorite! How cute is the Pamela’s Panty with this full band Lanai? All made from the Gidget kit with lovely stretch lace. And if you look real close, you’ll notice I added underwire channeling to provide some texture and definition to my cup - even tho it’s a wireless bra! Yes, you can do whatever you want to your bra.

The Matching Panty is made with micro-lycra and same lace - since the Gidget lace is so wide.
